1) I have downloaded a file called
"ati Linux -driver-installer-8.32.5-x86.x86_64.run".
In the directory where the file lives...
$ chmod u+x ati-Linux-driver-installer-8.32.5-x86.x86_64.run
This will make the file executable, next
$ ./ati-Linux-driver-installer-8.32.5-x86.x86_64.run
this will run it.
PLease make sure you read any pertinent documentation BEFORE running the
above.
I assumed some typos above and inserted dashes, use the TAB completion
to get the file name correct.
