If software is defective, legitimate retailers will take it back, and toss
it in a defective bin, get credit from the maker or take the loss. This
was defective software and I told them so. I am not putting up with
software that I paid cash for and then that tells me I must register them
and divulge my personal information, or they inactive the software. That
is pure bull*** IMHO. I have been a victim of identify theft and I
closely guard what I give out regarding personal info now; hence I pay
cash for just about everything (also since an ATM ripped me off as some of
you know from my past posts); I have lost confidence in electronic money,
I deal in cash now.
