@ Beowulf:
Thanks for this idee I try it once whit open suse. I really liked it.
But how can I check whit hardware linux did detect?
I'm completely new whit it.
For the gaming. It doesn't really matter. If I can't played on linux
then I always have windows xp on my desktop.
But how I have ones a duel startup, but the windows on the laptop
works a little @#$. They put my hard disk in two. Then it comes that
windows both need that driver. There are also hard disk that you can't
see. The have the installation on it. I really don't want to mess that
up. And 40 gig for one os system doesn't work very well. Tried that
ones never again.
Thanks anyway for the quick answers.

Windows games are not meant to play on linux, but *some* games can be made
to play in linux--eg Word of Warcraft, Diablo2, etc. If you just must have
Windows games, stick with Windows, or keep Windows on your laptop along
with linux (have a dual boot system).
