Hi all,

Perhaps this is quite OT for this group. However, I would appreciate any
help to help me use K3b.
Of course, I checked "Help" file but to no avail.
The problem is I would like to know where do I give the target/destination
path so that I can save/burn the files into one particular directory on the
cd as the cd already contains a folder with some previously burned files
using Nero on Windows.

TIA...

Well... that is not possible directly you need to save the content of
the disk on you hard drive and then burn it.

To modify the content you have many methods :

mount it using the "-o loop" option (you need root privileges)
copying the content of the disk to you hard drive (with cp or
drag-and-dropping the icons) and modify the files and then burn the files.

I have the content on the hard disk. The cd where I want to burn the files
have separate directories meant for text files, image files. The contents
are text files on my hard disk which I want to add to text files directory
on the cd.
I drag the files and click on Burn. But burn it *where*? How do I give the
path of the directory which is already present on the cd? K3b brings up a
dialog box with four tabs viz; Writing, Image, File system, Misc. None of
these tabs has the path to the cd with particular directory that I want to
transfer/burn the files to. Nero is easy but I don't want to go back to
Windows as the files are too large and cumbersome to put up there. Any
help? Thanks, Poms
.
