illing myself trying to get conky 1.4.2 on my Xubuntu 6.10 box to list
local mail - /var/mail :[...]

#local mail
mail_spool $MAIL

For others who may encounter the same problem ... I thought $MAIL
(being a variable) would acquire my local spool, but it turned out that an
explicit path did the trick :

mail_spool /var/mail/my_username.here
