Beowulf enlightened us with:

if so what motherboard? My current system maxes out at 4GB, has an
Athlon 64 X2 dual core 4000+ cpu. But I sense I might need more,
especially RAM, like 10GB or more, at least 8GB. Maybe even more to
quadcore cpu. Any suggestions on what works for linux compatibility
with such a high end system?
I'd get a Beowulf cluster.
