Linux is slower than Windows? What?!?
What part is it you don not understand?
The bit where you said Linux is slower than windows.
Linux programs running a lot slower under Linux than
windows programs running under windows, what is
so difficult about that?
Perhaps because they don't
It takes a lot more time to boot linux than win XP.
Nope. It doesn't.
Opening a folder with 1500 photo's takes forever
in al linux programs I tried and is visible under
Windows ACDSEE in a flash.
A folder full of photos in Linux (thumbnail view enabled) opens at least as
quick and possibly quicker than a folder in XP with thumbnails enabled.
I haven't got a clue what ACDSEE is. I'll have a guess that it's a third
party program. IF that is the case, then the goalposts went -----> that
way.
All programs take more time to open in linux as
under windows, why isn't it allowed to say so,
it is a very simple fact?
No it's not. A fact is a truth. You either have a very poorly installed
version of Linux or you are simply making it up.
