It seems to have. On my install of FC6_64 both 32-bit and 64-bit
libraries and apps were installed. I run 64-bit and 32-bit apps

never get SuSE 10.2 to work at all which is a different story and
probably something I did wrong. On my AMD64 4000+, the distributions
seem to want to use the integrated video card even though its disabled
in the bios. I have a nvidia pci-x card instead which is a bit nicer :)
Didn't have the built-in graphics problem. I purposely avoided
motherboards that had them. Settled on an Abit KN9 with an AMD Athlon 64
2.0 GHz, 3200+, single core.
