Anybody know of a way to use Sony ACID music studio project files with
some linux audio/music application? Sony makes tons of music CDs of
ACID loops in .wav format which is no problem regarding linux (e.g.
audacity) but those CDs also have ACID project files that I would like
to be able to open in linux if possible, sort of like OpenOffice
importaing .doc MS-Word files. I doubt this is possible, but I wish
someone doing an open source audio editor for linux would find a way to
do this.
ACID is a highly proprietary and unique program originally designed by
Sonic Foundry. I seriously doubt you're going to find anything outside of
ACID that knows how to read them.
