locate filename
thanks, bu that requires me to remember the name of the file. the way
i use g.desktop is usually to type in a snippet of a phrase that i
know the file contains. i don't have to know what directory the file
is in or any of the switches for grep or anything like that. it
usually locates my file before i'm done typing the search term.
hmmm I'd suggest beagle, but since I already did I won't again.
Maybe a google search of the terms "desktop search linux ~google"
