That's a correct attitude. Even the easiest distribution will differ from
what you know, so you will experience surprises. On the other hand, some
of these surprises will be good.

Only disadvantage I've found so far is that if you install it at work you
have to find new ways to kill your time. Waiting for XP to end its
never-ending hardware activity that slows the system to the crawl stops
being a viable option. =)
