Re: Linspire?

So, what do you think about Linspire for the newbie?

I have a lifetime of free updates to Linspire (NOT Freespire) and am running
SuSE. I have loaded various versions of Ubuntu and am still running SuSE.

Why? Because the install is about the easiest and most foolproof of any of
them and the installable software the most extensive. Yes, you can do the
downloads from the Linspire repository - but with SuSE there is litte you
need to download.

Two things to watch, if you are running ADSL, as I am, make sure you
install "Kinternet" and then after installation, do a Google search
for "Hacking SuSE 10.2" from the "JEM Forum" and follow the instruction for
a couple of additional installs. ]

Other than that, there is not much you need to do.
