work wirelessly, Firefox dies. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Open firefox
Type about:config in the address bar
Navigate to........
network.dns.disableIPv6
set the value to "true"
I had a very similar scenario in Ubuntu. This worked for me.
If it does work, you may wish to turn IPV6 off system wide.

Hey, it works!!! Now posting from Firefox :D. Thank you so much.
I've not tested irrsi yet; however, I'm assuming that the setting will
need to be adjusted there as well (meaning I'll have to go digging
through irssi docs to figure out how to do that). Strangely, I already
had IPv6 disabled globally, and it didn't seem to make a difference.
Perhaps FF doesn't mind those settings seeing as it's not a direct
component of KDE? In any case, it worked, and I'm psyched. Thanks :).
