I POSITIVELY HATE a messy system will somebody PLEASE help a beginner.
What is the easiest way?
You run the "synaptic package manager", you most likely find it in the menu,
otherwise open a terminal and type "synaptic".
Select to uninstall gaim.
In MS Windows I would simply uninstall then
reinstall. That is not possible here.
In microsoft you can uninstall anything without the system would care if you
would break it or not.
I ran the synaptic program, and there are many files which begin with
Gaim. Which one to a remove??
