Sane and/or Xsane and/or Gimp got updated and screwed everything
up, by making things "better". ;)

The old HP-4C scanner won't plug into any of these newer
computers... they won't take the out-dated card. :)

New-type card will be ordered in the next month or so, but I got
stuff that needs scannin'. ;)
