Re: "ubuntu testing" apt sources

linuxnewbie1234 was all like, you know, and said something like...

In debian I configure the apt sources to get distribution debian
"testing", specifying generic name "testing" not specific name like
"sarge" so that packages are always taken from the current testing
release and my distribution is progressively improved as the time goes on.

Is it possible to do the same with ubuntu?

Not needed as Ubuntu is from the "testing" branch.

It seems strange to me that I have to continuously peek the ubuntu.com
website to see if they have released another version, then update the
apt sources config file manually...

A new realease is every 6 months - last was 10.6 (October 2006), next
release is 4.07 (April 2007) and so forth.
