Beryl -- can it be installed with apt-get / synaptic?

Is there an *easy* way to install Beryl, like with apt-get, and
without messing up my existing Ubuntu 6.10 system? I already have the
nvidia driver installed using the driver off the nvidia website for
3D. I would like to get Beryl working on my linux system but I do not
want to destroy my existing nvidia driver and lose the ability to have
X. Has anybody added Beryl to their existing Ubuntu system and how
difficult or smooth did it go?

.
