i think it got messed up during an automatic "update" from Ubuntu (I
have since turned that feature off)-- a newer kernel was installed, I
removed it from the grub boot menu but it must have messed up the
nvidia driver install. i will just have to reinstall the nvidia
driver again along with beryl i guess this weekend, probably a good
thing.
