7.04 handles the restricted headers and Nvidia driver in a slightly

always match up the driver with the kernel headers automagically.
However, it is *different* and therefore it confuses quite a few
upgraders.
I never go with the automagic nvidia driver that Ubuntu installs, it
just has not worked for me with games like World of Warcraft or Unreal
Tournament; they need the native nvidia.com driver instead of the one
ubuntu installs. I have actually had to go to great pains to remove
the ubuntu nvidia headers and driver, i.e. clean up and get rid of all
that, then install nvidia.com driver I wish ubuntu and nvidia.com
could work together to just make it happen cleanly
Apart from that though, I would go for it. Most folk have upgraded
without any issue at all. You're backed up adequately aren't you?
Of course, four times daily :)
