I have installed Ubuntu and seem to have everything working except the

The wireless worked with the Windows that I overwrote at time of
installation, So I know the hardware is OK.
I don't know where to start to debug this.
Can anyone point me somewhere to read?

I don't use ubuntu any more but when I did I had no problems using my
intel 2915abg built-in wireless. It worked with open AP's and my WPA-PSK
at home. I never spent enough time learning how to configure
wpa_supplicant to get it to work with WPA-EAP. Anyway It worked with
both ubuntu 6.10 and 7.04. My main problem with ubuntu had to do with
monitor detection and I could never get it to use any resolution except
for 1280x1024 which is too small for my weak eyes on a 15 in monitor.
I've often wonder though if the kde desktop tools in kubuntu would have
detected things better.
I settled on PcLinuxOS for now, but I'm probably going to try CentOS as
soon as the version 5 live cd is available. To much of the software I
want to use will only install on Red Hat and CentOS is essentially free
Red Hat.
