How's being clever working out for you? Click the link and then go to
download. It does not work, the link is not vaild. As I said in my
original post. I think I know how to use google. It is amazing how
people just want to rip someones head off for posting something that you
don't think is worthy. Check usenet, dude. it is full of trolls and
idiots posting drivel.
You act like I came in here posting total trash. I already run SUSE
10.2, ubunbtu 7.10, Debian, MEPIS, and have tried various other distros
Red Hat 7, 8, and 9. Fedora Core, various versions, Knoppix, Edubuntu,
Kubuntu, and I am sure I am leaving out one or two that I have tried. I
am trying to find alinux (Formerly Peanut) because I thought it would be
an easy distro for my mother-in-law to try.
You're right, I didn't try the iso download link. Try this one. It took
about 2 minutes to find with google and a little poking around.

Most of the listed mirrors are dead links but not all.
Is there a reason you want to use a distro that seems to be dying on the
vine? I would recomnend PClinuxOS, ubuntu, or kubuntu. All are pretty
well supported and were easily installed from a live CD.
