Connect Ubuntu VPN Client to Windows VPN Server ?

I'm running Ubuntu 7.04 and I've tried pretty much everything I could think of, for connecting my machine to the Windows based VPN server at work.

The server is running EAP and possible MS Chap for authentification, also it uses a preshared key (presumably IPSec based).

How on earth do I connect to it from my Linux machine ?

Thanks in advance for any clues you can come up with :-)
