Internet Connection Sharing, but you have to send your packets to that

Its the other PC's ip address (the gateway for my PC - for XP).

But it's only a valid gateway when it's turned on, and dialed in.
The rest of the time, it's a false route, and causes problems.

So I can get on the net. As noted in my previous post . When I dial up
from the other PC.

Actually, Linux, and before that, many of the branded UNIX. were doing
this as much as 13 _years_ before microsoft "invented" the Internet.
