Close - Ballmer also said it would be stable. It's not! Vista should be
the start of the death of MS - the hardware drivers they've got out there
don't work, their "WGA" authentication is a nightmare (particularly over
the last few days when their servers crashed), it is incompatible with 90%
of Windows software written for earlier versions, and it won't run on 95%
of the PCs in the world!

is a new "feature" for sure. Snooping is not.

The DRM actually impinges on /every/ aspect of the "operating system" - it
reduces video bandwidth to your monitor and to your soundcard if it detects
"premium" material on a DVD, and it /slows/ /down/ /networking/ when
playing or copying MP3s - probably in a mistaken effort to cripple P2P
filesharing.
