We're in complete agreement. Why *did* laptops stop having *real* 9-pin
serial ports on them?
Again: fucking microsuck tells the hardware co's what to do.


Not some "adapter" that plugs into the God forsaken USB
slot on your PC. USB has valid uses but adapting a well known standard
to
USB is NOT one of them. Buy a serial card if your crap PC only came
with
USB like some of the junk PCs I have seen from Dell lately.


Cramming a pci card into a lappy would be quite the accomplishment!
