You're right but Xubuntu is just one of the distributions built with XFCE. He wasn't asking about any XFCE distribution but specifically Xubuntu.

I'm pretty sure that the problem is that we are not speaking the same
language here**. I wrote the sentence:

"So is anything else that doesn't have KDE, and the OP was asking about an
XFCE-based distro."

Xubuntu is an XFCE-based distro, right? Would it make it clearer if I
rewrite that as:

"So is anything else that doesn't have KDE, and the OP was asking about
Xubuntu, which is an XFCE-based distro."

Since the contrast was between KDE and XFCE, the point was that the
category of XFCE based distros was different from the category of KDE
based distros, and that the OP had asked about something in the former
category.

If we aren't disagreeing about the facts, only the presentation, you could
make it easy to see by going off and drawing a few Venn diagrams for
yourself.
