I have no idea who or what you are responding to . However I would suggest
that you look at MCNLive again, ( or rather since I suspect you never
looked at it, I would suggest that you look at it). It is not only a live
distro it can also install itself onto your hard drive so that you can boot
from it there. Ie, you can install from it as well.
