And to what purpose, and to what user value, does MS gather such info?
And to further stratgise marketecture scalability.
OTOH, it might be that M$ cut a deal with the government so that when a user
creates a word.doc or whatever, the "extra" info wil help the NSA or FBI track
and identify that user.
Yeah. I liked "Enemy of the State" ... more truth in it than we'd
probably want to know.
