so any programs that I did not list here that are good please let me
know and out of the ones I have listed do you know which one is the
ImageMagick is pretty cool -- I never use its GUI, but its command
line program called 'mogrify' is amazingly powerful, mind blowing what
it can do. A nice complement to the GUI graphics programs. Check out

For example, I do 35mm photography of models and after a shoot I use
mogrify to trim perhaps 20 pixels on each side of all images that I
then give to the model on CD. I can do one command and have that
operation done on 1000 images, plus lots of other things on the same
command line.
