What is the best distribution (64-bit) for me. I am new to Linux and have a

Can I install linux (dual boot) while Vista is already installed? Thans for
all your advise.
1) if you've narrowed it down to two, why not install and try them both?
(kubuntu is easily done by installing ubuntu and then adding the kde
desktop).
2) Certainly.
I also have a network drive (Linksys NSLU2 with attached harddrive formatted EXT3). Is it easier to use ubuntu or suse (32 bit) when i wish to install drivers like at x800? I also have a wifi multifunctional brother dcp-750CW. Do I need Samba too for networkdrives at home? Thanks for all your advises.
