Because PCs look bad compared to classic off-the-shelf macintosh. It's a
no-brainer.
So when a character in a film that cost tens of millions of dollars to
produce drinks a can of Coke, do you think Coke was chosen over Pepsi
because of aesthetic reasons, or because Coke paid to have their
product displayed in the movie?
I doubt Macs are chosen based on their looks alone, especially not
when the producers could be making money promoting Wintel machines.
