This might allow you to identify the program.

The "magnifier" program is, apparently, intended to aid people with impaired vision. It has a program name that I can't remember and can't find. I tried ps -al and other versions of the command. Now that you point it out I do recall that the - sign is omitted with this command. As I pointed out, it is a l-o-n-g time since I have run unix/linux programs, and I have disposed of my library of commands. When I was involved with them I was NOT a techie.

I have to assume you're using GNOME - didn't see anything re: the
desktop but Fedora defaults to GNOME last I checked. So, I *think* you may
be looking for something along the lines of gnome-mag-0.14.4-1*. It may
be something in GNOME's > Preferences > Session you'll need to disable
or remove. Or, Fedora may start that by default from a script... I dunno.

Thank you very much. I ultimately did find it where you indicated. I must have turned it on by accident. It could be my eyesight, but I think this version (maybe many?) needs a better road map for implementation of personal settings. Some stuff is very hard to find.
