I can't see any of today's players still having such non-standard
formatting. I even suspect you could have formatted your previous one.
That's what I did with my first (some 128 MB Packard Bell crap). Would you
believe it actually had 4 partitions, and stored all data on the fourth
partition. I removed them all, creating a single primary partition.
Formatted that with FAT. Worked like a charm.
