I'm not really convinced it's such a great idea. We were down the road of
several users per computer in the 80's. As hardware has become so cheap
and time has become more valuable, it now makes more sense to have several
computers per user. I run three, myself. Two desktops set up with a KVM
and a laptop. It's much easier for me to switch back and forth between two
systems than it is to reboot into a different distro each time I want to
do something different.
