you using KDE, so check under "KDE personel settings"
looks & themes - GTK styles and fonts

my fonts are Sans Serif 9 in KDE & GTK apps
you can also check "looks & themes - Fonts"
did you try to change the fonts in Firefox and Thunderbird?
you mean where you have fixed, proportional and serif and so on?
that area has me sort of scared :)
fixed? hum, now you are not correct
i have no big fonts :-p
i think that PCLinuxOS missed that part, our maby yourself.
