Thanks to fontconfig, handling fonts has become very easy these days.
Just put your fonts into /usr/local/share/fonts (system wide) or
~/.fonts (for a user) and they are available immediately.

fact : Linux has had a lot of issues with fonts. Even someone with your
sub standard skills could google up such cases. Go have a look see if
you're not too busy cozying up to posters pretending to be girls.
