Don't be offended by the reactions on your question. Please don't. I
think that although your question was a (pretty) basic one, it was a
question that was appropriate for this newsgroup. After all, it's a
newsgroup in here, so questions are inherent to what's called a
newsgroup, also basic questions.

To everyone else : not everyone is NOT a n00b, guys. Everyone of us
started at some basic level. The fact that heavytull's using Linux
proves that he is at least willing to learn, and that he dares to try
and walk unknown (non-Windows) paths. Instead of flaming him, you may
consider it's better helping him. Thát I call the Linux spirit.
