Far better to do that from the DSL installer nad I suggest you use a Linux
native file system as ext2 or ext3, and you seem to be doing slicing and
formation anyhow afterwards.
Ok so from my notes I think I have to type
sudo cfdisk /mnt/hdb1
You want "sudo cfdisk /mnt/hdb" as cfdisk is a program to slice your hard
drive into partitions. As you give a slice instead of a hard drive, cfdisk
won't work and gives you an error.
I am puzzled by this whole thing??? from the mount command it seems to be
telling me that /mnt/hdb1 is rw so what am I doing wrong?? am I missing a
step?
