Been digging around trying to figure out how to make my D-Link

In sure I've seen somebody else's output that included "full_duplex"
in there somewhere.
Clues anyone?
Whether your NIC can run at full duplex or not is at least partially
dependent on the device it's plugged into. If it's set to
auto-negotiate duplex and comes up half duplex then it's probably a
good idea to leave it that way.
yes i agree even if you force it in full duplex your link will go up,
down, up down multiple times an hour if your switch/hub doesn't like it
but i'll point you in the right way
mii-tool(8) is a tool for this job
If you set it to full-duplex and it comes in in full-duplex make sure to
watch for collisions and errors on the interface to determine whether you
should leave it that way.

I told you this was going to happen.
