Haven't noticed all the sales of "netbooks", then? Several million Asus
Eee machines and competitors to go out this year, growing even more next
year. Can't run Vista, so the only alternative to putting Linux on them is
the increasingly antiquated, creaky Windows XP.
Many of them can't "run" XP either as they haven't got sufficient resources!
I've been running Puppy Linux on an Asus EEE, and it flies - it's much
faster than the supplied Xandros Linux.
