What is the system requirements for frugalware?Is it suitable

Depends what you want to run. KDE/Gnome/Enlightenment, or fluxbox,
fvwm, ...
I'd suggest Zenwalk instead. It's a Slackware downstream too. xfce
by default. Very friendly and useful community behind it too.
