Could you give us a clue what you're trying to do? There may be a better
way. For instance if you're really looking to compare some text which
happens to appear in binary files, you'd use 'strings' first.
Just wanna compare the source and the target after duplicating a file.
You can't just drag-and-drop and go home. What if the backup fails when
you need it?
