Once I've bought a BluRay disk reader that is.

Not going to happen. I'll wait until something better comes along, or at
least until BluRay hardware isn't as locked up as it currently is.

Lets face it, a good film is just as entertaining in normal res, and a
crap one doesn't get any better for hi-def. ;)
