Hello to all, 
My name is Luiz Querino, and I am from Brazil, specifically from a city
called Marilia, in the Sao Paulo state. 
I work for a non-profitable educational institution called Colegio
Bezerra de Menezes.
I've been working with GNU/Linux and free software for several years
from now, and I think they are the perfect solution for institutions
with few economic resources.
When I found Debian-Edu I realized it could be the best alternative for
an entity like Colegio Bezerra. Then I had a meeting school director,
and he authorized me to start a project to migrate the current academic
management system to GNU/Linux. 
I want to develop a complete school management system, entirely based on
Debian GNU/Linux, which will manage: students, courses, grades, class
scheduling, and also finances, accounting and billing.
Also, I would like to offer my contribution to the Debian-Edu project. I
could write documentation, help with translation, i18n and l10n and
coding (I have C, Python and GTK experience).
