Linux-Egypt.org, the official website for Linux Users in Egypt, has announced
the release of "Resala-Linux" Project
Resala-Linux, is the first release candidate. Based on Fedora Core 2 and
optimised for i686 architecture and above.
Resala Linux Project is a single CD distribution based on Fedora Core Project
The main objective is to: (a) make an Arabic ready distribution, to make it easy
for normal users to use Linux in the Arabic speaking countries, and (b) to open
the door for all developers to contribute in a regional Distribution.
Resala-Project is totally support by Linux-Egypt, where it will be kept as
separate Stand-alone project to allow contributions from everywhere, and by
every one who can contribute.
