If you want to build a program on Linux and Windows (and maybe MacOS)
your best off with wxWindows (see "http://www.wxwindows.org/"). And if
you want your program to have all the usual features a normal
application has, get the demo sample from
"http://wxguide.sourceforge.net/indexdemo.html" and fill in your code.
