Hi,
I'm totally lost.
I need a Linux program that is a simple text editor (multi doc would
be better, but anyway) that prints the currently edited line into the
status bar when I type a key and must have one toolbar button(or a
menu item) that opens a message box if clicked.
More, the program should automatically open .xxx and .yyy files when
double clicking in Konqueror. Also, can I have this program running on
Gnome then?
I'm new to Linux and don't know what all the different things are
about, what runs where and what needs what.
There is X11, GTX, Qt and all this different things.
Can anyone, please, please setup a minimal project that does exaclty
this and send it to me?
I'd really appreciate this. On Win32/MFC, it's just 3 clicks, but on
Linux I'm lost without help.
