My lord you're an idiot Lee. You've been making a complete ass out of
yourself for 30 posts now and you think that because I don't know the actual
name of an incremental search I don't know what I'm talking about at all,

Maybe you NEED to read some manuals. VIM has it intrinsically, in vi you
can provide your own keybinding to do it.
