Why do you think that? What kind of compatibility do you mean? You
probably mean better suited for Window programming than the other
frameworks.
IMO wxWidgets is better suited for programming on any platform. Since I
switched from GTK+ to wxWidgets I got the impression I've build the
better applications than before.
If you want do see how easy wxWidgets can be used have look at wxGuide
("http://freshmeat.net/projects/wxguide/").
