    Hi Everyone,

I am wondering if GTK and its C API provide any way of giving the user a
audible alert without resorting to terminal control sequences.

I have seen a reference to gdk_beep() but unfortunatly, I can't find the
man page or any documentation/examples on how to use this.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks
